Good And Evil

There are benefits and consequences to choosing either good or evil. Why do you choose one or the other?

Good and Evil, either exists or does not exist.

There are forces on the side of good, and there are forces on the side of evil, or there are not.

There is no winner, there is no power of one to stop the other, at least not within the time horizon we perceive.

Within human awareness, both good and evil can happen, do happen.

Within human awareness both good and evil happen through choice, a choice determined individually.

Each individual makes their choice of good or evil freely; neither force has the power to override an individual choice.

There are benefits and consequences to choosing either good or evil.

Why do you choose one or the other?

Even though human consciousness cannot know the infinite, human consciousness can sense what it is. We can see how numbers and time can continue indefinitely.

Is it the same with good and evil, can we sense that they could continue indefinitely?

There are forces of good and evil beyond our mind and emotions and beyond human values and morality, or there are not.

If there are forces beyond love and hate, generosity and greed, connection and separation, and so forth, they do not interfere with choice directly. They may pull us toward them, but they do not interfere with our choice.

Ultimately we must each make our own choice. If there is no force beyond your own decisions and moral choices if you alone are responsible for choosing good or evil if there is no consequence or outcome beyond what you choose, what will you choose – good or evil?
